The transaction will be effective on July 3rd. Sensortechnik Meinsberg GmbH was founded in 1990 by the Kurt Schwabe foundation as sole shareholder in a modernizing restructuring of the “Kurt Schwabe” Research Institute in Meinsberg /Saxony.

Sensortechnik Meinsberg GmbH brings high-quality sensor and instrumentation technology for the potable water industry to the Nova portfolio.

Woburn, MA, September 3, 2003 - Nova Analytics Corporation announced the acquisition of Schott Geräte GmbH laboratory equipment subsidiary of Schott Glas serving the science, industrial and environmental markets. The newly formed Nova subsidiary Schott Instruments, GmbH develops, manufactures and distributes electrochemistry, titration and viscosity measuring devices.

Woburn, MA, May 12, 2003 - Nova Analytics Corporation today announced that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of the electrochemistry business of Corning, Inc., and has obtained a controlling interest through a direct investment in Wissenschaftlich-Technische Werkstätten GmbH & Co. KG ("WTW"), a privately held company in Weilheim, Germany that develops and delivers award-winning physical-chemical measuring analytical instruments for laboratory research and quality control including water and wastewater analysis.

"By acquiring the Corning electrochemistry business line and our subsequent investment in WTW, Nova Analytics has become a significant new force in the electrochemistry market", said John Kennedy, President of Nova Analytics. He continued, "We intend to expand our portfolio of products and companies over the next several years to both better serve our customers and bring innovation to the analytical instruments marketplace".

Acton, Massachusetts, March 5, 2003 - Corning Life Sciences has announced the sale of its electrochemistry product line to Nova Analytics, a company based in Woburn, MA. This includes pH, temperature, conductivity, DO and specific ion meters, as well as the associated electrodes, buffers and solutions.

All other Corning Life Sciences' businesses including glass, equipment (hotplates and stirrers) and plastic products will continued to be owned, managed and operated by Corning without any change.
