The Nova Analytics management team brings together the skills and experiences of several proven talents in the analytical instrumentation industry. Our collective experience covers sales and marketing, product development, manufacturing, finance and administration.
Jim Barbookles, Chairman and CEO, before joining, was a consultant for several fortune 500 corporations and previously served as President and CEO of a major US instrumentation manufacturer addressing the water analysis market. His past responsibilities also included positions in manufacturing and operations with United Technologies, American Optical, Cambridge Instruments and Thermo Electron. He graduated from Buffalo State University with a BS in Electrical Engineering and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with an MBA.
Chris McIntire, President and COO, served as CEO of WTW, a subsidiary of Nova Analytics Corporation from May 2003 thru April 2006. Prior to joining Nova, Mr. McIntire was the General Manager of Thermedics Detection, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Thermo Electron Corporation, serving the security market. He also served in various senior management roles in Engineering and Operations at Thermo Orion (formerly Orion Research). Mr. McIntire’s career has been focused on turnarounds and process improvements. He attended Northeastern University’s undergraduate engineering program and also received an MBA from Northeastern.
David Knight, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, prior to joining Nova Analytics Mr. Knight was the Vice President of International Sales & Marketing for Thermo Orion a wholly owned subsidiary of Thermo Electron. He also served as Managing Director, Russell pH Ltd and Separations Group Director for ATI Unicam.
Mr Knight’s career has been focused on delivering cost effective timely products through optimized distribution channels. He attended the University of Hertfordshire, BSc Analytical Chemistry program.
